Vinesh Phogat returned to India and received grand applause from people. people received her with open arms and raucous applause. Vinesh came to India from Paris after her disqualification from Women's 50kg freestyle Wrestling Final at 2024 Paris Olympics. wrestler went to her native village in Haryana, where she was felicitated. But during event, Vinesh was seen fainting as she was sitting on stage alongside or wrestlers and dignitaries.

Vinesh Phogat seemingly fainted during felicitation ceremony at hometown Balali

Vinesh Phogat landed in Delhi on Saturday morning, and she n went to her hometown, Balali, in Haryana. A grand felicitation ceremony was kept in place to applaud her relentless efforts during Olympics campaign. But Vinesh was seemingly exhausted due to travel fatigue as she laid back while sitting in her chair. It is not yet confirmed wher she fell unconscious or was just napping while leaning back. video of moment went instantly viral on social media.

Vinesh was seated beside fellow wrestler Bajrang Punia and Uncle Mahavir Singh Phogat. In anor footage, she could be seen sipping water as Uncle Mahavir conveyed something to Bajrang. stage h or people as well, and it was set up to felicitate Vinesh's valiant effort and her never-say-die attitude as she fought for medal despite being disqualified from summit clash.

Grappler Vinesh Phogat h stayed back as she was waiting for CAS verdict as she h appealed for a joint silver medal following her disqualification. During weigh-ins, Indian Grappler was found 100 grams overweight, which led to her disqualification. A medal was assured for Vinesh, but all her chances were thwarted after Court of Arbitration for Sport dismissed wrestler's plea. Phogat h announced her retirement after her ousting, which left wrestling fraternity in shock.

With Vinesh back in India, it is yet to be seen if grappler would consider reversing her retirement decision. Uncle Mahavir, her fellow wrestlers, and WFI may try to talk her out from retirement. It is yet to be seen what happens next.
