After missing out on the singles event, Sarabjot made sure to taste the medal in the mixed event, and he kept his calm to get the better aim and eventually win it all. Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh gave a tough fight to their South Korean counterparts and there were instances when the Koreans took the lead. But Manu and Sarabjot kept their composure and allowed India to secure their second medal to enhance their rankings in the tally. In the dying moments of the competition, India secured a strong lead after Bhaker scored 10.6 while her opponent scored 10.2. Similarly, Sarabjot struck towards the centre with a 10.2, while his opponent failed to score more than him India stood tall with 16 points, while South Korea scored 10.

Massive cheers erupted after that as India sealed the deal secured themselves a bronze medal and took their medal tally to two. Manu Bhaker has now become an absolute sensation after she secured two consecutive medals in the same game. India is now two medals strong, courtesy of the country's 'shooting star'.

Sarabjot's first attempt for the Indians yielded a dismal 8.6, and Bhaker's shot of 10.2 resulted in an overall score of 18.8. With a total of 20.5, the Koreans won the first round and took a 2-0 lead. After trailing 0–2, Bhaker demonstrated his consistency, which helped Sarabjot as they won the following 4 rounds to increase their lead to 8–2. Throughout the entire 13-round competition, Bhaker had just three strokes under par. The Koreans faced an uphill battle as they gave in to pressure and lost 16–10, unable to equal their opponents.
