Born in Birohar, Haryana, on July 16, 2001. Aman Sehrawat won the Olympic Bronze at the age of 21. He reached the Olympics after attaining significant credentials.
Aman Sehrawat claimed his first National Championship title in 2021. He is a prodigy of coach Lalit Kumar. In 2022, after securing gold at the Under-23 Asian Championships, Sehrawat made history as the first Indian to win a gold medal at the Under-23 World Championships.

In April 2023, he won gold at the Asian Wrestling Championships in Astana and also earned a bronze medal in the 57 kg category at the 2022 Asian Games.
In January 2024, Sehrawat secured gold in the men's 57kg event at the Zagreb Open wrestling tournament, winning all his matches by technical superiority.

He qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris by securing a quota place at the World Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament in Istanbul. The Wrestling Federation of India chose him over Tokyo Olympics silver medalist Ravi Kumar Dahiya for the 2024 Olympics. Sehrawat was the only male wrestler from India to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
At the 2024 Olympics, in the men's 57 kg freestyle wrestling event, he defeated Vladimir Egorov and Zelimkhan Abakarov by technical superiority but lost to top-seeded Rei Higuchi in the semifinal. He later won the bronze medal by defeating Darian Cruz of Puerto Rico with a score of 13-5. Aman Sehrawat, lost his parents at the age 11, worked hard and 10 years later - he is an Olympic medalist.
