Paris Paralympics 2024: Full List of India's Para-Athletes Who Have Qualified for the Event

India had its greatest-ever Paralympic performance in the Tokyo Games, taking home 19 medals. This year, 84 athletes competing in the Paris Paralympics.

With the 2024 Olympics in the rear end, the attention will shift towards the Paris Paralympics, where multiple nations are set to be a part of the event. This year, India is hosting their biggest-ever contingent of Para athletes who will be travelling to the French Capital. Check out the entire list of athletes representing India at the 2024 Paralympics.

India at the 2024 Paris Paralympics: Biggest-Ever Contingent to Represent the Country at the French Capital

In 2024, India will be sending their biggest contingent — 84 athletes, including 32 women — to Paris for the Paralympics, which is a significant leap from the 54-member contingent during the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. The 84 athletes will be competing in various sports like archery, athletics, canoeing, badminton swimming, shooting, table tennis, and more. The contingent will be competing in three new sports this year, which are para-cycling, para-rowing, and blind judo.

Sumit Antil and Bhagyashree Yadav will be the flag-bearers for India at the opening ceremony, and the Paralympic games are scheduled from August 28th to September 8th, 2024.
