The 111th match of the ongoing Pro Kabaddi League season marks the start of the Panchkula leg, and the first match of the leg will be played between Haryana Steelers and UP Yoddha at the Tau Devilal sports complex, Chandigarh. The match is scheduled to be played on Saturday, September 28, 2019. The match will begin at 7:30 PM IST. The first clash between the team took place in Ahmedabad where Steelers defeated Yoddhas 36:33 with a small difference.

UP Yoddha ended their Jaipur leg on a high by defeating Tamil Thalaivas in a one-sided win and reaching the sixth spot of the PKL points table with 53 points. With nine wins and eight losses, UP Yoddha recently qualified for the playoffs. Their star raider, Shrikant Jadhav scored eight points for his team against the Thalaivas. Jadhav also got some great support from his teammate Surender Gill, who also snatched seven raid points. Defender Sumit is certainly having his best season as he was able to successfully claim his fifth High 5 of the season. They will surely have revenge in mind when they face UP Yoddha and they will do anything to defeat them.

After losing against the Bengal Warriors, Haryana Steelers made an incredible comeback by defeating Patna Pirates 39:34 in their last match of the Jaipur leg. They are three spots above UP Yoddha with 59 points at the table. Their star raider Vikash Khandola gathered 13 raid points against the Patna Pirates and his teammate, Prashanth Kumar Rai supported with by taking seven points and taking the team to victory. It was a crucial victory for the team as it took their score higher on the points table. This team will look to recreate history by defeating the UP Yoddha as they start their Panchkula leg tomorrow.
