1. Sandeep Kumar Dhull

With a score of 67 tackle points for PKL 2019, Sandeep Kumar Dhull is ranked first on the list of top defenders. For PKL season 7, this left corner defender is a part of Jaipur Pink Panthers. The diving thigh hold, an advanced defence manoeuvre, is his signature move. Throughout his entire PKL career, Dhull has earned a total of 201 tackle points.

2. Vishal Bhardwaj

Vishal Bhardwaj, the star raider for Telugu Titans, ranks second on this list for PKL 2019. He has a total of 61 tackle points. Bhardwaj is famous for his ankle holds, which are almost impossible to escape. He made his presence known with this debut in PKL season 5, managing to get five impressive High 5s. This young defender has 198 total tackle points to his name in his PKL career.

3. Sumit

Sumit bags the third place on this PKL 2019 top defenders list. Introduced to Pro Kabaddi this year, he has already earned a praise-worthy number of 61 tackle points. He also has five High 5s this season. Currently, Sumit plays for UP Yoddha.

4. Fazel Atrachali

Unsurprisingly, with 57 tackle points, Sultan Fazel is placed fourth on this list. With an overall total of 292 tackle points in his bag, this Iranian left-corner defender has always proved himself as a reliable player. His signature move is the dash, which requires a paramount display of strength. Fazel Atrachali is the captain for U Mumba’s captain for PKL 2019.

5. Baldev Singh

Next up on this list is Baldev Singh from Bengal Warriors. He has 65 tackle points, which also include six High 5s, the highest for PKL 2019. Usually, Singh defends the right corner. Combining his score for two seasons, Singh has 83 overall tackle points.
