PKL 2019: U Mumba's road to playoffs, performance and results

On October 2, U Mumba qualified for upcoming PKL playoffs. Only top six teams qualify for playoffs, which are scheduled to begin on October 14. U Mumba was fourth team to qualify, after Dabang Delhi KC, Bengal Warriors and Haryana Steelers. Bengaluru Bulls qualified on same day, after ir match with Haryana Steelers.

PKL 2019: U Mumba secures a spot for PKL playoffs
Under 'Sultan' Fazel Atrachali's captaincy, U Mumba mand to qualify for PKL playoffs once again. Maharashtrian team h a rocky start but picked up momentum in later sts of league. It was ir 30-26 win against Patna Pirates that earned U Mumba a spot in PKL playoffs. As per current PKL points table, U Mumba is ranked fourth with 64 points.

Abhishek Singh has been U Mumba's saving grace, scoring a total of 125 raid points in PKL 2019. He debuted in PKL season 6, immediately creating an impact with his raiding skills. This season, Abhishek's performance has only improved. Skipper Fazel Atrachali is U Mumba's rock, leing defence with 64 tackle points. Sandeep Narwal has proved to be a valuable dition to team, supporting defence and attack effectively. Even young players - Arjun Deshwal and Athul MS - have been crucial for U Mumba's success this season. ir biggest win this PKL season was ir game against Jaipur Pink Panrs (47-21).
