Red Bull team principal Christian Horner believes prospect of losing a struggling team from Formula One grid would be such an "ermous blow" that sport's owners would have to launch a financial bailout. world championship has t yet got underway due to coronavirus pandemic with nine races eir cancelled or postponed. With TV and advertising revenue drying up, re are fears that weakest among 10 teams could go to wall. However, Horner believes that F1's owners, Liberty Media, would be forced to act.

"It could be an ermous blow and at that point promoter has to decide," Horner told Guardian on Saturday.

"It is ir business, y have to decide how do y keep se teams alive because y need teams to go racing.

" Liberty guys would do whatever y can to ensure that 10 teams are on grid and competing next year.

"In order to protect ir own business, I believe y would help to facilitate, which means paying, to ensure that those teams would be around to compete next year."
