Ric Flair gets a befitting reply from Becky Lynch over trademark claim

Ric Flair has expressed his dissatisfaction of Becky Lynch's nickname 'The Man' and he had made a statement that it was his old catchphrase. Lynch replied back.

Ric Flair is also a Triple Crown Champion. In fact, he is the only Triple Crown Champion in WCW and WWE. Ric Flair was the first-ever WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Apart from the world championships, Flair has become the United States Heavyweight Champion and World Tag Team Champion in WCW and has won the Intercontinental Championship and World Tag Team Championship with WWE. However, lately, Ric Flair has crossed paths with one of the strongest as well as the best WWE divas Becky Lynch.

Ric Flair is against Becky Lynch's nickname 'The Man'

You have heard that right. Ric Flair had filed for 'The Man' trademark earlier this week as he had an issue with Becky Lynch using 'The Man' nickname. As per reports in a foreign publication, Ric Flair seemed to take issue with The Man being used by Becky Lynch and Taylor Swift. Lynch uses “The Man” on her WWE merchandise and Taylor Swift recently released a song titled, “The Man.”

The WWE Hall of Famer took to social media and made a statement that it was his trademark.

Becky Lynch strikes back at Ric Flair

Meanwhile, Becky Lynch was not to be carried away by Ric Flair's big claim. The reigning RAW Women's Champion took to Twitter and wrote that she was 'The Man'.
