Manu Bhaker rose to prominence following her performance at the Paris Olympics. She won two medals in the individual and mixed doubles rounds, becoming an influence to many aspiring shooters. Bhaker's stardom in Paris is not something which could be achieved in one go. The superstar shooter and Olympic double medalist recently opened up on who was her inspiration and how the person has helped her develop in not just shooting, but other aspects of life.

Manu Bhaker Shares How Her Role Model Shaped Her Shooting Journey and Beyond
During an exclusive interview with Republic World, Olympian Manu Bhaker revealed who was her inspiration in shooting. She named Jaspal Rana as her inspiration. Coach Rana was a key part of Manu's Campaign and was there with her during her Olympic run in Paris, France. Bhaker expressed how Coach Rand had a distinct way of teaching things, and he also used to teach things which are usually undermined. The two-time bronze medalist added that Coach Jaaspah made her learn to deliver a speech and how to carry himself
"So my coach is, just as he's the kind of person who tells me to, who would teach me different things. You know, for all the things like, you know, athletes. Because we are undermining all of these things. It's not necessary. My coach is like, you have to be, you know, you should know how to give a speech how to carry myself," said Manu Bhaker.

Manu Bhaker is coming off a successful campaign in the 2024 Paris Olympics, which earned her two bronze medals in the same event. But what will be next for the Olympian? Bhaker revealed that she isn't looking into anything right away and she intends to return to the sport after taking some time and engaging in some basic training.

"I'm not really looking to any competition. Because I'll be on track for now, and then I will start back again with my basic training and after some time of training, and then I'll start," The Paris Olympics' Double Medalist added.
