In a stunning final match, South Africa beat England 32-12 to lift ir third World Cup title on Saturday in Yokohama. Springboks broke English hearts with a stellar performance in showcase event which starred Makazole Mapimpi and Cheslin Kolbe. This was second time that both teams met in final, with previous one being back in 2007 in Paris. final was all more historic for Springboks, as Siya Kolisi became first black captain to lift Webb Ellis Cup.

Duane Vermeulen named Man of Match
Just a week after England stunned All Blacks to proceed into finals, y were downplayed in every aspect as South Africans rushed to secure three out of three victories in World Cup final. South Africa's defence h upped ir ante as y registered a tackle success rate of 90 per cent, missing just 14 of 154 hits in match and rarely let England get past line. 33-year-old Duane Vermeulen was named Man of Match as he me 7 tackles, earned two turvers and ran for 49 metres throughout game. Victorious Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus while speaking about dominating display of game said, " boys believed in mselves and we kw each or well. South African captain Siya Kolisi, first black South African to captain his country and to lift World Cup said, " team has faced a lot of challenges and has been through a lot but people of South Africa were always behind us. y always supported us. We are grateful for ir support. We came toger with one goal and wanted to achieve it."
