According to NFL reports, Buffalo Bills acquired receiver Stefon Diggs from Minnesota Vikings on Monday (Tuesday IST) in a blockbuster NFL trade. Fox's Jay Glazer was first to report Stefon Diggs NFL trade. Bills traded ir first-round pick, fifth-round pick and 2021 fourth-round pick for Diggs, including a seventh-round pick from this year's draft.

Vikings picked Diggs in July 2018 with a $71 million extension. team had a NFC Championship appearance in 2017, and hoped to build on it with Diggs added to ir team. However, Vikings finished 8-7-1 in 2018. Last season, team had a 2-2 start, after which Diggs took to Twitter and reacted to situation with a vague tweet. However, Vikings confirmed that y would t be trading Diggs. He played with Vikings for 2019 season, leading team to playoffs. According to Stefon Diggs stats, he hauled 63 catches with a career-high 1,1130 and 6 touchdowns.

Though Bills finished 10-6 last season in AFC East, y still finished behind New England Patriots. With Diggs on ir team, Josh Allen will have a clear option and figures to open lanes for running back Devin Singletary. As opposing teams cant afford to leave Diggs in single cover, his addition could help Bills overtake Patriots.
