The tennis player reportedly lost confidence two months back as he lost his third-round match at an ATP Challenger Tour event held in Mallorca the same week of the first round of the US Open. He was very much concerned about where his level on the court and with his body stood, he said. Murray said he was also physically exhausted after the matches.

Murray bounces back to form after hip surgery
Andy Murray underwent hip surgery after the Australian Open which reportedly slowed him down. Yet the Scot has bounced back to his form since then. He got his first tour-level singles win of his return in Zhuhai, then made the quarter-finals in Beijing, and now he has won three matches this week in Antwerp. Speaking on his comeback, Murray said that coming in the form in tennis is more difficult than other sports because you do not get the opportunity to just come in and play one set and build up your fitness by playing a little bit longer each time, like in other sports. Adding more to the process he said that one needs to come to form in tennis by playing matches one after another.
