ATP Finals 2019: Watch Roger Federer's hilarious reply after win vs Novak Djokovic
Roger Federer avenged his Wimbledon defeat by knocking out Novak Djokovic from ATP Finals and qualifying for the last four with a dominating 6-4 6-3 victory.

Roger Federer brought his A-game on the court against Novak Djokovic on Friday and also avenged his Wimbledon defeat by knocking out the Serbian and qualifying for the last four of the ATP Finals with a 6-4, 6-3 victory. The loss in the round-robin stage also ended Djokovic's chances of upstaging Nadal and becoming the World No 1.

The victory for Federer was his first over Djokovic since 2015. The Swiss legend had only won twice in their previous 11 encounters. Federer encountered a heartbreaking loss in a five-set marathon in the final at the All England Club in July.

The World No 3 said that he has been trying hard and came so incredibly close against Djokovic for the last couple years.
Federer said that he knew the beginning wasn't key, but he knew it was important. He said that he had a great run on the serve, as well. He also said that he was able to keep the pressure going and mix up his game because Djokovic was playing incredibly aggressive at one point midway through the first set, which surprised Federer a little bit.

The Swiss ace was asked to what differently he did to that Wimbledon classic earlier in the year, to which Federer dropped a classic one-liner saying, “I won the match point, I guess." He also added that it was a privilege to play that match at Wimbledon this year against Djokovic.

Djokovic said he played a “pretty bad match” but was full of praise for Federer. He said that what Federer is doing is phenomenal and he’s a role model even for him.
