But things were different during a match at Auckland Classic when 15-year-old Coco Gauff h to control her far, Corey for using unparliamentary langu. incident took place during Gauff's second-round match against Laura Siegemund on Thursday.

15-year-old Coco Gauff was receiving some coaching from her far after taking first set. A TV microphone picked up conversation. Gauff's far was heard telling her that she did t give free points on her opponent’s ‘damn serve’, which is one correct thing she did throughout set. She immediately said to her far that he must t curse more since he is live on television.

Corey apologises to Coco Gauff
Coco Gauff's confused far did t understand at first. So, Gauff clarified that he said ‘D-word’ which is unacceptable. ult tried to brush it off, saying ‘Damn’ did t count as a curse. But Coco was having ne of it.
She countered, stating that in some places, word was indeed considered b. Corey couldn’t help but laugh sheepishly and apologise.

Unfortunately, Gauff lost match against German, 5-7, 6-2, 6-3. During post-match media interaction, she felt re was a lot she still needed to learn to play at top level.
