Roland Garros 2020 new dates could lead to as many as 18 international tennis events getting cancelled. After coronavirus outbreak saw many sporting events across globe get suspended or postponed, French Tennis Federation decided to reschedule  French Open. Roland Garros 2020 new dates mean that competition begins on September 20, a week after US Open, making it final Grand Slam of year.

new schedule for  French Open could see as many as 18 events get cancelled due to a clash with Grand Slam competition. Furrmore, many tennis players could be forced to choose eir one of US Open or  French Open in order to compete at ir highest level. Roland Garros 2020 new dates mean that two tournaments are just a week apart and it would be cruel on players to make it to both Grand Slams considering levels of preparation and exhaustion.

one week gap between two biggest Grand Slams is going to cause furr controversy considering that both are played on different surfaces. Players participating in French Open are t likely to get any clay court practice after entire clay-court season has been scrapped because of Coronavirus.
