Novak Djokovic furious after becoming 1st player to lose point on video review; watch clip
Novak Djokovic had touched the ball before it crossed the net due to which the French team had appealed that he should lose a point because of a 'foul shot'.

Serbia overcame a stiff challenge from France to enter last 8 of ongoing ATP Cup 2020 in Australia. vak Djokovic led Serbia team from front, winning both his singles and doubles matches against group rivals France. After France led through Beit Paire's victory over Dusan Lajovic, World .2 beat Gael Monfils 6-3 6-2. Djokovic n paired up with Viktor Troicki in doubles to beat Nicolas Mahut and Edouard Roger-Vasselin to win 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 10-3.

ATP Cup 2020: Serbia enter last 8 as group winners
Victory over France ensured Serbia tops Group A standings and becomes second team to qualify for Final 8 of ATP Cup 2020 after Australia booked its place on Sunday as Group F winners. However, what marred Serbia's victory was vak Djokovic's on-court behaviour. Speaking about incident to official ATP website, Djokovic said that it seemed to him, at first, that it was kind of just in middle, but n chair umpire repeated video a couple of times to show he was right.

This was t first time that Djokovic has lost a point while playing a shot near net. In 2013 French Open semi-final against Rafael Nal, he fell into net while hitting a forehand volley during fifth set. He went onto to lose match. Speaking about incident, he said that he h alrey lost a very important point in his career against Nal in a similar way in semi-final at Roland Garros, so he h a little bit of a déjà vu re and got frustrated because of that. Serbia w travel to Sydney for quarter-finals. Group A winners will face eighth team to qualify for Final 8 in day session on January 10.

Australian Open 2020: vak Djokovic calls for postponement
World . 2 vak Djokovic expressed fear for players who will be heing for Australian Open soon. He said that organisers should consider postponing first Grand Slam event of 2020 if haze from recent bushfires happens to threaten health of players. Australian Open is scheduled to start on January 20, 2020 at Melbourne Park.
