Novak Djokovic's Outrageous Shot That Broke Carlos Alcaraz' Will To Win First Ever Olympics Gold

Novak Djokovic emerged triumphant at Paris Olympics as he won the Gold medal match against Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets.

Novak Djokovic won his first ever Olympics Gold Medal for Serbia when he beat Spain's Carlos Alcaraz 7-6(7-3), 7-6(7-2) in straight sets to emerge victorious in the men's singles finals in Badminton.Djokovic was in tears after the gruelling encounter against Carlos Alcaraz as he finally got his hands on the Gold Medal that he so desired. 

It was a thrilling encounter from start to finish and despite Djokovic winning the Gold in straight sets, the match was neck and neck till the end as both the sets dragged to tiebreak. 

In such a high quality encounter, Novak Djokovic pulled off an absolute piece of brilliance that completely broke Alcaraz and effectively won Djokovic his Gold Medal.

The final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz was one of the closest finals in Olympics Tennis history as both the superstars put an absolute show during the match.  

It was such a high quality and close game that none of Djokovic nor Alcaraz were able to break each other's serve in the entire game. 

However, the decisive moment which won Djokovic the match came in the tiebreak of second set. Carlos Alcaraz was serving and the tiebreak looked even at that point. In an incredible rally, Djokovic seemingly on the backfoot but in an incredible moment he fired an off balance backfoot forehand which outrageously beat the forehand of Carlos Alcaraz.

The second set tie break was level at 2-2 at that stage. But with that point, Djokovic inched ahead in the tiebreak and won five consecutive points enroute to win his first ever Olympic Gold medal.

It was that outrageous forehand which was a dagger to Carlos Alcaraz hopes and propelled Novak Djokovic towards becoming the fifth player in tennis history to win a Career Golden Slam.
