2017 World Champion Nozomi Okuhara clinched the title of BWF Denmark Open after beating World and Olympic Champion Carolina Marin in the final of women's singles on Sunday.

The Japanese star took 56 minutes to get the better of the Spaniard in two games 21-19, 21-17, at Odense Sports Park, Odense, Denmark.

Marcus Ellis and Chris Langridge of England defeated Russian pair Valdimir Ivanov and Ivan Sozonov in three games, 20-22,21-17,21-18, becoming the first England pair to clinch the title of men's doubles in the Denmark Open for 45 years.

No.1 seed Yuki Fukushima and Sayaka Hirota won the all-Japan affair in the women's doubles and their second Denmark Open title after beating No.2 seed Mayu Matsumoto and Wakana Nagahara in three games 21-10, 16-21, 21-18.
