Overjoyed after winning his 19th Grand Slam at the US Open 2019, tennis ace Rafael Nadal took some time out to interact with his followers on social media.

Rafael Nal is on cloud nine since he won his 19th Grand Slam title. Spanish tennis ace beat Daniil Medvedev in a five-set thriller in New York to win this title. Rafael Nal is just one step away from over-taking Roger Federer, who has 20 Major crowns. Rafael Nal, as soon as he got back home in Spain, sent an Instagram mess to his fans, along with a smiling picture of himself. Below is his post from his official Instagram account.

When asked about his huge win, in an interview, player said, “This victory means a lot, especially way match became so difficult, so tough. nerves were so high after having match under control. It was a crazy match”.
Spaniard also ded, “I don’t kw. I’m just emotional. It has been one of most emotional nights of my tennis career. Thank you very, very much, everybody in this stium. It’s been amazing energy during both weeks. I think re isn’t ar stium in world that is more energetic than this one so many thanks for everything.”

Rafael Nal was born on June 3, 1986, in Manacor, Mallorca, Spain. He was introduced to tennis at tender of 3 by one of his uncles. Nal began his professional career in 2002, breaking into top 50 tennis professionals in world. Rafael Nal became youngest player in history of international team competition to win a singles match for ir country.

- 2004- He played an important role in Spain’s defeat of United States in Davis Cup final.
- 2005- Rafael Nal set a record for teen male player by registering 11 tournament victories, including a triumph at his French Open debut. This is when Nal upset Federer in semi-finals.
- 2008- Nal won his fifth career Grand Slam title. It was in a five-set match that lasted for 4 hours and 48 minutes. He thus became first man since Borg (1980) to collect both French Open and Wimbledon title. Nal won men’s singles gold medal at Olympic Games.
- 2013- Rafael Nal ded ar French title and also became first man to win same Grand Slam singles event eight times.
- 2014- He won a ninth French Open championship.
- 2016- He captured his second career Olympic gold medal at Rio de Janeiro Games.
- 2018- In Australian Open, Nal was forced to withdraw in quarterfinals because of an injury, but, he recovered in time and claimed French Open championship, which was his 17th Grand Slam title.
