India's sixth-seeded Sumit Nagal on Sunday lost 2-6, 3-6 to Nerland's seventh-seeded Tallon Griekspoor in finals of Banja Luka Challenger 2019 in Banja Luka, Bosnia & Herzegovina. This was Nagal's first title clash on ATP Challenger Tour since winning Bengaluru Open on vember 2017. Nagal h sailed into final of Banja Luka Challenger with a straight-sets win over Slovakia's Filip Horansky here on Saturday. Nagal is currently ranked 174th in ATP rankings, which is his career-best.

Sumit Nagal me his Grand Slam debut against Roger Federer on August 26. Sumit Nagal gave legendary Roger Federer a tough fight in first round of US Open 2019. Federer endured a shaky start to match but for Nagal it was best he would have felt on a tennis court. Indian stunned crowd by breaking Federer's serve in third game with Swiss committing a double fault on second breakpoint. However, after losing first set, Roger Federer won three sets in a row to beat Sumit Nagal in first round match. With final score of 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4, Roger Federer won match. match took place at Arthur Ashe Stium in New York.
