Tennis fall out: Daniil Medvedev hits back at Tsitsipas criticism
World no.4 Daniil Medvedev has given his own dig at Stefanos Tsitsipas after he termed a match with Medvedev as boring. Here is what he said in his reply.

World No.4 Daniil Medvedev has taken a dig at Stefanos Tsitsipas after he termed a match with Medvedev as 'boring'. The two went head to head in the semi-finals of Shanghai Masters held recently, the Russian won the match in the straight sets. But it was the post-match press conference where it all started. Tsitsipas termed the match as ‘boring’ when he was asked what it is like to play Medvedev.

Talking to the press, Tsitsipas claimed that it’s not about being rude to his opponent but it is just boring playing against him. The reason he gave was that he has a huge serve and if Tsitsipas manages to pick it, it’s just countless balls inside the court. He said that the only way to tackle him is making Medvedev move and being accurate with the side to side shots or else the ball will just keep coming back again and again which Tsitsipas termed as boring.

Medvedev hits back
The Russian player Medvedev is currently on a winning streak of nine matches. Also, he has played in six finals since Wimbledon. Replying to Tsitsipas’ comments, he brushed off the 21-year-old’s comments and poked fun at him for what he said about his Laver Cup celebration. He said that every tennis player can say something nasty about some other player. Medvedev stated that a lot of Russian and International tennis players laughed at Tsitsipas’ answer about the Laver Cup celebration. He claimed that Tsitsipas said that he was forced to drink alcohol that too not in a funny way. He stated that the Greek player can’t be taken seriously.

At a press conference after Shanghai Masters last week, Alexander Zverev termed that the two of them have a weird relationship and he doesn’t want to get into this fiasco when he was asked about their fall out.
