In post-loss video, Federer can be seen walking down corridor at Rod Laver arena towards locker room. In sharp contrast to everyone else who is carrying something or or (coffee, cameras, etc.) Federer is empty-handed, simply wearing a shirt that res 'Chillin'. As he makes to enter room, a security personnel (in a yellow shirt) politely stops him and signals at his own identification card - telling Federer that he should be wearing one as well.

He waited patiently, peeking down corridor to watch a member of his staff walk down same corridor. man n showed security officer his own accreditation, and n pair were allowed to walk in.
Australian Open's Twitter handle posted video, remarking at how even great Roger Federer needs his accreditation.

Sachin Tendulkar, a kwn Tennis fan, also posted his thoughts about it. Sachin commended both officer as well as Federer, citing how such reactions weren't commonplace anymore in world of celebrity sportspersons' fits.
