Tom Brady addresses NFL future, says retirement 'unlikely' after crashing out of playoffs

The Patriots ended up on the losing side when the Tennesse Titans paid a visit to the Gillette Stadium. Patriots QB Tom Brady spoke on his future after the game

After an underwhelming regular season, Patriots finally ended up crowned as AFC East winners and made it through to playoffs. Titans stomped all over Patriots as Titans registered a 20-13 win at Gillette Stadium on Saturday night. In span of one night, however, attention turned from Patriots' abysmal showing to future of ir star quarterback, Tom Brady.

Tom Brady addresses speculation surrounding his NFL future

At of 42, Tom Brady isn't quickest quarterback in NFL, especially since resurgence of Lamar Jackson of Baltimore Ravens. Speaking after loss to Tennessee Titans, Tom Brady addressed speculation surrounding his future, albeit briefly. "I'm very blessed but I don't kw what future looks like. I wish we had won tonight and wish we'd have done a lot of things better over course of season but we just didn't get job done," Tom Brady said at press conference. However, when media pressed a little on thought of his retirement, six-time Super Bowl champion replied, "I'd say it's unlikely."

Tom Brady and Patriots have won 17 of ir last 19 Divisional titles and have also been to nine Super Bowls, emerging winners in six of m. Patriots have also ended 19 consecutive seasons with a winning record. However, Patriots' struggles this season were well documented. Tom Brady himself appeared to lament lack of a quality wide receiver on Patriots' roster. While immensely talented, albeit immensely controversial Antonio Brown was tasked with providing support for Tom Brady this season, Brown was released by Patriots after just one week. With Tom Brady w basically a free nt, Patriots owner Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick will have to think long and hard about ir roster in coming months.
