UFC 291: Conor McGregor shares bold response over Gaethje's brutal KO to Dustin Poirier

As Justin Gaethje inflicted a powerful head-kick knockout on Dustin Poirier at UFC 291, fans could not believe what they witnessed and began to express their thoughts on different social media platforms. McGregor is likely to face Michael Chandler next but according to his post on X, he is willing to scrap that fight to face the UFC's new BMF.

Having met once inside the ring in 2018, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje squared off again at UFC 291. This time, it was for a title and seemingly for the number one contenders of another title. With a prior win over the Highlight, Dustin Poirier had the odds in favor of him but Gaethje came up with the goods to knock out the Diamond and become the new BMF titleholder in UFC and may subsequently get a shot at the Lightweight title.

Conor McGregor reacts after the fight culminated

Whenever a huge fight takes place inside the confines of the Octagon, former UFC double champion Conor McGregor tends to offer his say. The UFC 291 was no different. Moreover, his former foe Dustin Poirier was in the main event, hence, a reaction was certain to come. However, he did not target the Diamond, but rather issued a challenge to the winner of the fight Justin Gaethje.
