Conor McGregor vows he will "butcher" Justin Gaethje inside the octagon
Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor recently slammed a number of UFC stars on Twitter including the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje.

Justin Gaethje ‘ Highlight’ defied most odds at UFC 249 as he went on to trample Tony Ferguson and end his eight-year-undefeated streak at main event of UFC 249. In an empty arena, Justin Gaethje unleashed a dominant performance and claimed UFC interim lightweight title. While most of UFC fanbase is currently applauding Justin Gaethje for his sensational win, former champion Cor McGregor believes he can “butcher” ‘ Highlight’ if y ever lock horns inside octagon.

Cor McGregor took to Twitter and wrote a long mess which has seemingly thrilled UFC fanbase. Cor McGregor registered a stunning comeback against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 and became first UFC fighter to secure kckout victories across three weight classes (145 lbs, 155 lbs, 170 lbs). However, ' torious' later said that he would make a return in lightweight division. It appears Cor McGregor has found his next opponent, with his sights set on Justin Gaethje as he vows to defeat him inside octagon.
Despite being called out by Cor McGregor, Justin Gaethje may t accept challenge since he has alrey earned an opportunity to face Khabib Nurmagomedov for lightweight title. Khabib stands undefeated so far and Justin Gaethje could become first man to leave a mark on Khabib's record, which could also mean that Cor McGregor may t get an opportunity to face ‘ Highlight’. However, in near future, Cor McGregor and Justin Gaethje could potentially come face to face inside octagon as Dana White has been kwn to set up blockbuster clashes in main events.

Cor McGregor kcked out Dustin Poirier within 90 seconds of ir fearweight contest in 2014 and a rematch in lightweight division has seemingly been on card for years. Since Dustin Poirier is currently out of a worthy opponent he is expected to face Tony Ferguson or Cor McGregor next.
