UFC: Jorge Masvidal calls out Canelo Alvarez, wants to break his face

Jose Masvidal, the Badddest MF (BMF) of UFC has his eyes on Boxing Superstar Canelo Alvarez and he wants to break Alvarez face in a boxing match. Jorge Masvidal defeated Nate Diaz in the much-awaited BMF clash at UFC 244 main-event and Canelo Alvarez defeated Sergey Kovalev for the WBO light heavyweight title on the same night. Masvidal is eager to face The Mexican Superstar in a squared ring for a cross-event bout. UFC and Boxing cross-event bouts can be massive and fans have had a glimpse of it in the Mayweather vs McGregor bout, thus it won’t be shocking if Jorge Masvidal and Canelo Alvarez find a way to meet each other in a boxing ring to decide who has the killer punch.

Masvidal feels that he can work with different angles and he seems confident about securing a victory in a match-up with Alvarez. Masvidal is an eminent striker and Alvarez is undoubtedly one of the greatest boxers of all time, thus a matchup between them would be great if it is happening inside the squared ring.
Masvidal acknowledged the fact that Alvarez is a better boxer than him. As per Masvidal’s statement, Alvarez has thrown 10,000 jabs more than him. The BMF thinks that he is capable of bringing some elements that boxers are not used to, which could throw Alvarez completely off his game. Masvidal feels that he is a natural bigger dude with boxing gloves on and zero fear of breaking his hand. The BMF further says that he can be a legitimate threat inside a boxing ring and he can defeat Alvarez with ease.

Well even before stepping inside the ring, Masvidal has given a tough competition to the boxing universe in terms of viewership. Jorge Masvidal vs Nate Diaz and Canelo Alvarez vs Sergey Kovalev took place on the same date in New York and Las Vegas but the boxing main-event was delayed due to UFC 244 main event. Golden Boy Promotion and DAZN created a long gap between co-main event and main-event fight. So what happened in the meantime? UFC 244 main-event was showcased on the big-screens between a boxing match.
