UFC: Khabib Nurmagomedov plans to retire in the next 2 years from MMA

After successfully retaining his lightweight belt at UFC 242 against Dustin Poirier, Khabib Nurmagomedov is heading towards his next opponent. According to latest media reports, Tony Ferguson is all set to face Khabib for UFC title but champion’s recent statement has left all his fans disappointed. At of 31, Khabib is already planning his retirement. Even if he mans to defend his title after this much-anticipated fight, ' Eagle' says that he will fight for only 2-3 years more before retiring.

“Because I don’t want to fight all my life, because I kw it’s very hard, and I kw a lot of new hungry guys are coming, and I kw to always be undefeated, undisputed, this is t almost impossible, I think it’s impossible. Because you can watch in history, like soccer, boxing, MMA, everywhere, one day you’re going to lose. You have to kw when you need to stop.
