Former UFC star Sage Northcutt had a devastating debut in One Championship and faced a humiliating loss against Cosmo Alexandre. Alexandre knocked out Northcutt in 29 seconds with severe blows on his face and Sage Northcutt faced eight severe fractures over his face. When UFC President Dana White was asked about his opinion over the match, he claimed that he wants Sage Northcutt to retire from the sport. UFC: Dana White wants Sage Northcutt to retire

According to Dana White, Sage Northcutt is super talented and absolutely charismatic but he is not made for this sport. Dana White claimed that Sage is a great guy absolutely loves him but he does not want Sage to get seriously hurt in the sport. Dana White does not care if people hate him for that but he said that he really feels that Sage should quit MMA.

MMA News: Sage Northcutt responds to Dana White

Former UFC star Sage Northcutt has finally responded to Dana White’s comment on his retirement and said that he couldn’t make logic out of the UFC President’s comments. According to Sage Northcutt, Dana White has always said that he wants the best for Sage and wants him to rise. Thus, Sage feels that his UFC exit has totally changed the mindset of the UFC President. According to Sage Northcutt, it was just an injury and it has nothing to do with his retirement. He still wants to continue his journey in One Championship and feels that he will accomplish great things over there.
