After a controversial end in the first encounter, featherweight superstars Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens are ready to go against each other again in the co-main event of UFC on ESPN 6. The first encounter at UFC Fight Night 159 was cancelled out as ‘No Contest’ after Jeremy Stephens decided to pull out due to an accidental eye-poking from Yair. It was a highly awaited main event but ended in the most unfortunate way. However, UFC President Dana White has wasted no time in setting up the match again and Jeremy Stephens vs Yair Rodriguez is set to roll out again in the main-card.

UFC News: Yair Rodriguez channels anger over the fight
The first fight was ruled out in just 15 seconds and the Pantera was highly upset over it. In the post-fight interview, Yair Rodriguez expressed his anger and stated Jeremy’s actions as a cowardly stance. A lot of UFC fans also felt that Jeremy Stephens could have continued the fight but he chose to stay away from it. Despite getting the re-match, Yair has left no opportunity to express his anger over the controversial UFC Fight Night 159. However, in a recent interview, Yair said that he has managed to surpass his anger and is currently focussed on the re-match against Jeremy.

“You know what?”. “You’ve got to be able to let go. After meditating a lot and reading books and passing times with myself and friends and talking to my family and stuff, I got to the realization that it is what it is “… If you’re living in the past, you’re depressed. If you’re living in the future, you have anxiety. If you’re in the present moment, you’re happy. All I’m doing is focusing on this right here right now, and this is the only thing that we have.” Said Yair Rodriguez.

The number eight ranked featherweight fighter is still calm and feels that he has got all the chances to defeat Yair Rodriguez at UFC on ESPN 6 co-main event fight. Jeremy Stephens has decided to keep himself away from the fans' outrage and is keeping himself calm before the mega-fight. However, that did not stop him from unloading his anger over Yair. The hatred between both the men has surely created a lot of hype over their match and it seems that the octagon is the only place to get all the answers.
