UP Yoddha, PKL 2019: Road to playoffs, performances and results
UP Yoddha were the sixth team to qualify for the upcoming PKL season seven playoffs. Let us take a look at UP Yoddha's journey to the PKL 2019 playoffs.

UP Yoddha have had a successful PKL season so far. Their number of wins are double in comparison to their losses. Currently, UP Yoddha are ranked fourth with 68 points. They beat Dabang Delhi KC to take up the last spot in the PKL 2019 playoffs. Dabang Delhi KC, Bengal Warriors, U Mumba, Haryana Steelers and Bengaluru Bulls are the other teams to qualify for the playoffs.

PKL 2019: UP Yoddha's successful Pro Kabaddi League campaign
UP Yoddha, when compared to PKL season 6, haves definitely upped their game with better scores and better techniques. Their captain is the young right corner defender Nitesh Kumar. UP Yoddha have been on a winning streak since their 42-22 victory against Tamil Thalaivas. Their last loss of the season was against U Mumba on September 18 (39-36). If UP Yoddha win their upcoming match with Telugu Titans on October 9, they will advance to the third position of the PKL 2019 points table.

Shrikant Jadhav, who has scored 123 raid points, is their star performer for PKL 2019. Debutant Sumit, with 65 tackle points, leads their defence. Sumit, who is a left corner defender is a perfect match for skipper Nitesh. Rishank Devadiga and Surender Gill have also been performing consistently this season. Their match against Tamil Thalaivas was also their biggest win with a 20 point score difference.
