20-year-old son of seven Cretime world champion Michael Schumacher got his first full experience of driving an F1 car during testing in Bahrain earlier this month.

Mick followed in footsteps of his legendary far in getting behind wheel of a Ferrari, completing 56 laps on an emotional occasion for his watching mor Corinna.
Michael has t been seen in public since suffering a severe he injury while skiing in December 2013.
" first time I saw him (Mick) after many years when he came back, I looked at him and don't think he really looked similar to Michael," said Ferrari's Mattia Bitto.

"But way he's behaving is very similar -- approach, way he's interested in car, discussing conditions."
"He was always looking at car, speaking to mechanics. That's very similar to his far."

Speaking in Shanghai ahe of Chinese Grand Prix, Bitto was keen t to lumber Mick with even higher expectations, with interest alrey intense interest in youngster.
" objective was t really to assess performance in very first day in an F1 car," said Bitto.

"More important for him is learning phase. Day by day he is vancing a completely new challenge in his F2 season." Following his European Formula 3 title last year, Mick me his Formula 2 debut in Bahrain, finishing eighth and sixth in two races.
He joined Ferrari Driver Acemy in January, entering into a partnership with team that helped his far win five F1 championships.
