The highly-anticipated UFC 229 fight ended in utter chaos after Khabib Nurmagomedov battered the Irish superstar Conor McGregor into submission before leaping out of the octagon to cause a mass brawl with the members of the opposition team.
Conor McGregor had returned to the ring after almost a 2 year layoff, but the comeback turned out to be a catastrophe for the Irishman instead of a coronation. Eagle, as Khabib is fondly called, continued his winning streak as he registered his 27th UFC victory.

The duo were involved in many heated exchanges in the build-up to the fight, from the in-famous bus incident to the recent press conference where they two had to be separated. Due to their bitter rivalry, the fight was dubbed as one of the biggest fights in UFC history, and it surely did live up to the hype.
Khabib Nurmagomedov, looked over the moon after tapping the Irishman out to remain the undisputed champion. However, he took his celebrations little over the notch after he jumped out of the ring to punch one of Conor McGregor's team-mates, Dillon Danis.

These scenes of rage sparked a mass brawl around the ring, with some members of Khabib's entourage entering the ring to launch a hideous attack on the wounded McGregor. Spectators were left shocked by these incidents, with some even criticizing Khabib Nurmagomedov's unprofessional behavior.
Following this carnage, Dana White, UFC president came into the ring to have a word with Khabib and McGregor. With the situation seeming out of control, the entourage of both fighters had to be escorted separately with heavy security guarding them.

There wasn't even a presentation ceremony nor a title presentation due to the chaos that ensued after the fight. Though, much later, the ring announcer officially revealed that Khabib Nurmagomedov had won the bout after making Conor McGregor tap out by submission.
After reviewing the footage of the ugly scenes that transpired at the T-Mobile Arena, the Nevada police have launched an investigation into the matter. For now, three members of Khabib's entourage have been arrested, while the Russian's 2 million paycheck has also been withheld for the time being.
