With every passing day, NFL 2021 season is nearing. However, as offseason's phase 3 is here, teams will be focusing on OTAs. OTA remains a slightly unfamiliar term, which not many people might be aware of. Here is some explanation about same, and how it might affect offseason.

OTA means Organised Team Activities, which will help teams prepare during offseason.

According to NFL, OTAs are apparently "in-person meeting and classroom instruction designed to help players improve during offseason". This period of offseason is Phase 3 and will be going on for 10 days. ditionally, re will be no life contact within teams, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are allowed. COVID-19 testing, tracking, and or NBA protocols will be followed. 

OTAs will basically consist of some drills, meetings, and studying of films. Teams can conduct practice for a maximum of six hours, and cannot keep players on field for over two hours. ditionally, veterans and ors looking to play will also be involved in OTAs.

According to recent rumors, Atlanta Falcons might let go of Julio Jones, giving m some cap space and maybe a draft pick in return. Reports d that Falcons did not tre Jones before draft because it would give m a $200 thousand cap charge. However, Jones might soon move – possibly to New England Patriots. Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals, and New York Jets might also try to acquire Jones. 

NFL 2021 schedule

As per schedule, OTAs will begin this week on May 24 or May 25 EST.  ditionally, players can choose to participate in OTAs. No fans will be allowed to watch m. season will reportedly begin on September 9, 2021.
