WWE Raw Results: Former champion surprises fans, lays hold of main event superstars

This week's edition of the Monday Night Raw featured superstars like Seth 'Freakin' Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Gunther, and Rhea Ripley etc. From singles to tag-team action the match card was staked up. So, let's figure out what transpired at the Red brand.

It was a historic night for the Intercontinental champion GUNTHER, as he celebrated his record run with the title. However, Chad Gable cut the celebrations short and courtesy of some action a tag team action between the Imperium and the team of Gable, Otis, and Tommaso Ciampa became a part of the fight card. Aside from that, Rhea Ripley was in the main event against Raquel Rodriguez. The Women's Title was on the line in the main event space.

Judgment Day vs. Kevin Owens and Jey Uso: The show kicked off with the match between Judgment Day's Finn Balor and Damien Priest and the newly formed alliance between Kevin Owens and Jey Uso. It was an even encounter but a miscommunication between Jey Uso and KO led to Judgment Day taking advantage and prevailing in the end.

The Miz vs. Akira Tozawa: In the second fight of the night, The Miz squared off against Akira Tozawa. While the past few weeks have been frustrating for the A-Lister, this week though, it turned out to be an easy win for The Miz.

Xavier Woods vs. Drew McIntyre: After some backstage back-and-forths in recent weeks, Xavier Woods and Drew McIntyre decided to settle the differences in the squared circle. McIntyre picked up a hard-fought victory.

Chelsea Green vs. Shayna Baszler: In a quick match-up, Shayna Baszler picked up victory over Chelsea Green.

Tommaso Ciampa and Alpha Academy vs. Imperium: After an earlier segment, Imperium and Alpha Academy got inside the ring. It was an even match which ended after Gable made Giovanni Vinci tap.

Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez: Rhea Ripley faced Raquel Rodriguez and yet again Rodriguez was able to pounce authority over the Women's Champion. It could have gone either way, but a returning Nia Jax launched an attack on Rodriguez. Ripley took the advantage and got the win. However, Jax wasn't done, after the match she attacked Ripley to deliver a statement.
