WWE WrestleMania 35: John Cena Bring Backs “Doctor of Thuganomics” In A Surprise Appearance.

John Cena brought back his Vintage look as "Dr. of Thuganomics" at WWE's WrestleMania 35 held at Metlife Stadium, New York.

Cena originally used the hip-hop gimmick from 2002 to 2004. He interrupted Elias' musical performance at WrestleMania 35 and proceeded to insult Elias with a rap. “WORD LIFE” started playing in the background with THUGANOMICS splashed across the pyro which had the WWE Universe on their feet cheering for the Dr. of Thuganomics.

John Cena grabbed the mic and starting spitting rhymes about how bad Elias is. Parts of the Verse Included 

Cena ended the segment with the trademark 5 knuckle shuffle and an AA (Attitude Adjustment).

WrestleMania is always incomplete without the 16-time champion making an appearance. Fans expected John would be making an appearance in Kurt Angle’s Retirement Match, but the opponent chosen to face the Olympic gold medalist was Baron Corbin. Then Cena had been rumoured to be the special guest referee for WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle's Farewell Match, but that never happened.

WWE WrestleMania 35 is going to take place on April 7 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The event starts at 4 pm Pacific time. Viewers in India can watch WrestleMania 35 Live on April 8, 5:30 am onwards on the Ten sports network.
