Iconic WWE Star's Name Reckoned For TNA Hall of Fame; What Caused His Induction to Fall Through?

Just like how WWE hosts Hall of Fame Ceremony right ahe of Showcase of Immortals, TNA also does same as y recently enshrined some of iconic wrestlers of ir promotion. TNA recently hosted Bound For Glory pay-per-view, where former WWE Superstar Rhyno and Bob Ryder were inducted into ir Hall of Fame. 2024 Class was a special one, but it could've been more special as y h plans to induct a legendary superstar of promotion, who is currently associated with WWE. But Connecticut-based promotion rejected ir plea.

Veteran WWE Superstar Pitched By TNA For Hall Of Fame Induction, But WWE Rejected Offer 

Rhyno and Bob Ryder were Class of 2024 for TNA Hall of Fame, which took place ahe of Bound For Glory. But re were more names under consideration for this year's class. As per Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp, pure TNA Superstar Monty Brown was also under consideration to be inducted into Hall of Fame. But Matt Hardy revealed that TNA management and officials couldn't get in touch with him. Hardy believes he is 'off grid' and that 'He would’ve been a really killer candidate too considering it was in Detroit.'

Anor big name that was in heavy consideration was WWE superstar and TNA legend, AJ Styles. Reports claim that TNA put Styles' induction plan in front of WWE, but y passed upon chance. TNA's sources claimed that recent injury sustained by Phenomenal one and ongoing storyline were among key factors of rejection.

Fans might think that WWE might be undermining TNA by passing o opportunity of sending AJ Styles over to induct m into TNA Hall of Fame. But recent history may suggest that both wrestling promotions have been in a spectacular working relationship as y featured inter-promotion matches. Stars like Joe Hendry, Jordynne Grace, Zachary Wentz and more featured in WWE matches in NXT brand. ditionally, it should be mentioned that a WWE talent has previously appeared in TNA when  Rock sent an induction message via video during Ken Shamrock's Hall of Fame induction.
