'It's not even..': Roman Reigns scoffs at the chances of The Rock's WWE SummerSlam return

WWE fans have been pleading to witness a feud between Roman Reigns and the Rock ever since the former champion returned to the promotion and declared himself as the Tribal Chief. In his rise to the top, Reigns has defeated whoever has come in front of him. From 16-time World Champion John Cena and the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar to even 'The Maverick' Logan Paul, all have tried and failed. However, it has been speculated that one man who will end the WWE Universal title reign of Reigns is his own relative, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Roman Reigns on the possible fight against The Rock

The Tribal Chief recently made an appearance on ESPN First Take, where he was asked about the possibility of The Rock returning to dethrone him. The Tribal Chief appeared unconcerned, stating that he was simply levels above the others. Here's what he said:

"We don't see it, no. I mean, that's what this past year, [a] year and a half, has been, contenders from everywhere. Brock Lesnar, and John Cena, they come from Hollywood, they come from other sports, Logan Paul, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter anymore. Head and shoulders above everybody. It's not even funny anymore," Roman Reigns replied.

The Rock to return to the biggest party of the summer

With WWE SummerSlam 2023 at a touching distance, the rumours are rife about the return of the most electrifying man in the entire sports entertainment. As the stature he carries, it is being assumed that should Rock could make his much-anticipated return, and that he will take back his space as one of the headliners. There are chances that he could also get involved in the Bloodline civil war

While Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes may witness interference from Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins could be reserved for a cash-in from Damian Priest, what's left and makes the most sense is the fight between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. However, the former WWE champion may not give a Rock Bottom to the Head Of The Table during the match, but it can occur after the fight had culminated, leading to the feud for the ultimate prize.
