John Cena reveals why he would never leave WWE and what motivates him

John Cena has revealed why he would never leave WWE despite a successful Hollywood career. Cena now makes part-time WWE appearances due to his acting career.

John Cena has had a remarkable wrestling career. Cena had made his WWE debut back in 2002 when the 'Ruthless Aggression Era' had just begun. From then on, there was no looking back for him. From a jobber, John Cena's journey as a mid-carder, main-eventer, world champion, megastar, 'Face of the WWE' has been nothing less than incredible. John Cena is a 16-time world champion and is the join-highest with the legendary Hall of Famer Ric Flair. As of now, the former WWE Champion only makes part-time appearances on WWE. He has now focussed his attention on making a successful movie career. Meanwhile, Cena has revealed why he would never leave WWE.

Why John Cena would never leave WWE?

During a recent interview with Good Housekeeping, John Cena revealed the reason why he would never be retiring from WWE.

“WWE is my family, they’ll always be my family and none of any of this exists without them, and I will never forget that.”

“I don’t think I’ll ever retire, because I don’t look at it like that … You don’t retire from your family. I will never, ever stop waving the WWE flag … I don’t think I’ll ever separate myself from them.”

 “As a 42-year-old, going to be 43 in April … I already know that I’m a little lighter, I’m a little slower, I’m not as strong, so all of the physical signs are like, ‘I’m here, I’m here, I’m here. I can’t lie to myself and say those things aren’t happening. They are. And either I accommodate my performance, or just say, ‘Hey, it’s time to do something different.’'

John Cena: Body can't handle schedule anymore

Reportedly, John Cena has said that performing in any capacity is a great thing about WWE while being interviewed. He said that as long as he can keep up with the current product, as long he has made a promise in-ring he can perform. Cena is trying to balance acting and wrestling.  The actor said the opportunities that he has been blessed with keeps him from being in the ring and he actually thinks that it is good because it makes any time for he gets invited back to WWE super, super special. He further added that and that is the way it must be if he did not have opportunities he would still be actively taking time off and confessed that his body just cannot handle the schedule anymore.
