WWE SmackDown Results: Bloodline Retain Tag Titles After Chaotic Ladder Match

The latest editon of Friday Night Smackdown aired directly from Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, TN. The latest SmackDown episode was the go-home show for WWE 's PLE Bad Blood which will feature some big matches such as Drew McIntyre vs CM Punk and Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns against the Bloodline. Several top superstars featured on the live show such as AJ Styles, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Naomi, Tiffany Straton and more. WWE SmackDown Results 

• AJ Styles vs Carmelo Hayes: Carmelo Hayes picked up the win by forfeit after AJ Styles picked up and injury and could no longer continue in the match.
• Michin vs Chelsea Green (Dumpster Match): Michin defeated Chelsea Green after she put her inside the dumpster and closed it to pick up the win.  
• Naomi vs Tiffany Stratton: Naomi was able to counter Tiffany and convert it into a pin which led to a 1-2-3 count leading to Naomi picking up the win.  
• Bloodline vs DIY vs Street Profits (Triple Threat Ladder Match): After a chaotic affair, the Bloodline was eventually successful in climbing atop the ladder and retaining their tag team titles.

WWE SmackDown Highlights Of The Night 

• A preview for the tag team match at Bad Blood between The Bloodline and Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns was shown building up more anticipation for the mega match at the PLE. There is much anticipation surrounding the match as long term rivals Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will team up and it will remain to see whether they have each other's backs or not. 
• AJ Styles returned to the ring after a long absence and was welcomed back by the crowd.  He was introduced by the singer Hardy who ended up calling him the Phenomenal Forearm.  
• AJ Styles picked up an injury during his match with Carmelo Hayes as LA Knight watched on. 
• Bayley and Nia Jax got into a heated exchange of words ahead of their title match. During this exchange, Stratton got angry and a fight broke out. 
• The chaotic ending to the Ladder match when both DIY and Street Profits went through the ladders breaking them. This allowed for the Bloodline to pick up the win.
