AEW Dynamite beats WWE NXT again in the viewership ratings

On Wednesday, AEW Dynamite which broadcasts on TNT drew 1.014 million viewers while WWE NXT drew 712,000 viewers on the USA Network. Read more to know.

Since its debut, AEW Dynamite has gathered a lot of fans and viewers. Because of its A-list roster and uncensored content, fans have loved the segments AEW Dynamite creates. Now, their viewership has grown so much that the newly found wrestling show has surpassed their rival NXT. On Wednesday, Dynamite which broadcasts on TNT drew 1.014 million viewers while NXT drew 712,000 viewers on the USA Network. This means that in total viewership AEW topped WWE NXT by 42.4%. Not just that, in its first week, AEW was ranked number five in the top 100 shows in the US, while NXT was at the 30th spot. This week, however, AEW secured the 25th spot, while WWE NXT was ranked at 35.

AEW Dynamite vs WWE NXT: The battle of TV rankings

Last Week AEW Dynamite on TNT drew 1.018 million viewers and was ranked at the 8th spot. NXT, on the other hand, drew 790,000 viewers and ranked was ranked at the 27th spot. This week, around 0.45% of people watched AEW, while only 0.20% of the demographic watched NXT. Last week, AEW was aired on truTV, and the Tony Khan-led industry drew additional 122,000 viewers. From this week, however, Dynamite will be aired on TNT in its regular timeslot.

AEW-bound Jon Moxley aka Dean Ambrose slams WWE

Jon Moxley, who earlier used to wrestle for WWE, slammed the company for stupid scripts. As per reports, Moxley said that they used to give him stupid scripts. Moxley revealed that WWE is undergoing a ‘PG era’ and there are some rules they have to follow. He also added that WWE has to keep the shows kid-friendly, and the violence level down. He revealed that by selling the violence that’s just not going to happen, he was lying to his fans.
