The fans took to social media to make public their unhappiness with the latest edition of the game, complaining about glitches and bugs. According to these messages, the game has graphics glitches, missing features, issues with image uploader, and more. Despite the rough launch day, WWE Games has not issued a public statement regarding the outrage on social media. However, the 2K Support handle on Twitter said that they are receiving more support requests than usual.

One of the fans who purchased the SmackDown 20th Anniversary edition of the game complained that instead of RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch’s plaque, he received a plaque for WWE Hall of Famer Edge. He further complained that the plaque was not even signed like it was supposed to be.

The 2K Support responded to the angry fan, stating that they were receiving more than usual requests for support. However, they calmed the fan, assuring him that they are doing everything they could to address the issue.
