WWE aim to elevate top free agent once signed

Since shutting down NXT UK brand, WWE has been in talks to bring up NXT Europe brand that will bring up wrestlers and breakout stars from European circuit and around. To do so, brand needs to have some of elite faces to help it elevate to next level, and WWE has just same plan in mind with Will Ospreay.

On Wrestling Observer Rio, Dave Meltzer recently revealed insight into WWE's plans for Ospreay. He revealed that re is talk within WWE about centring NXT Europe show on Ospreay.

“One idea that was thrown at me was idea of NXT Europe built around Will Ospreay. How much money y’re gonna spend on that [I don’t know]? revival of NXT Europe starts that thing of…obviously, what happened with original NXT UK and its effect on independent scene in England, it really hurt it bly.”

Will Ospreay consider moving to US?

Will Ospreay is currently serving his term with New Japan Pro Wrestling and will be with m until early 2024. Surprisingly, superstar wrestler may consider living in US, something he has been hesitant about in past.

current IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion has wrestled in States. he has been a part of action in AEW. Most recently, he was a part of IMPACT PPV. While se companies are certainly on run, WWE could also keep ir case in front of Ospreay when his deal expires.
