Triple H reveals WWE almost cancelled Boneyard match between AJ Styles and The Undertaker
While speaking on the ‘After the Bell’ podcast, WWE executive Triple H revealed that WWE officials almost cancelled the Boneyard match because of its venue.

WrestleMania 36 match between AJ Styles and Undertaker was hailed as best among all matches which took place at PPV. Boneyard Match was critically acclaimed and received a positive response from fans as well. Some critics even said that match will serve as a milestone in professional wrestling. However, while talking at Corey Graves’ ‘After Bell’ podcast, WWE executive Triple H revealed that WWE officials almost cancelled Boneyard match because of its venue.

Triple H said that y wanted to do Boneyard match in a giant piece of land in middle of where, but because of coronavirus outbreak, y were t allowed to travel too far. Triple H said WWE officials and creative team n started looking for a big parcel of land near WWE Performance Center in Orlando, but y were unsuccessful. Triple H added that y could only find a one-acre lot near a residential neighbourhood, which was t eugh to shoot a cinematic wrestling match.

AJ Styles vs Undertaker Boneyard match was on brink of cancellation
WWE officials n contacted Triple H and revealed to him that y were considering calling WWE Chairman Vince McMahon to ask him to cancel grand fight and film it in a studio. Triple H, however, somehow convinced officials and asked m to give it a go. “I was like, Michael (an official), this is it. This is hand we have, se are cards we’ve been dealt. We’ve got to figure out how to make this work w,” he said. WWE officials took Triple H’s advice and shot match in one-acre lot near WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
