WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is supposedly willing to put aside his differences to bring back one of biggest stars in company history. According to Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue, WWE Chairman is open to idea of CM Punk returning to squared circle for world's . 1 wrestling promotions. re was a time when CM Punk was one of most popular pro-wrestlers in WWE but he h a falling out with McMahon and Chief Operating Officer Triple H back in 2014 which resulted in Punk leaving industry.
In a statement, Colohue said, “Firstly, as regards WWE Backst, I am told by a source in Fox that CM Punk was never close to presenting role that he applied for. idea that WWE does t have a say in people on ir own platform is apparently very wide of mark and while WWE isn’t kwn to have outright vetoed move I am told that concerns of ir manment were definitely heard. I can also report that Vince McMahon himself...is open to idea of having CM Punk return to wrestling ring. Sources tell me that ‘Vince sees potential to make money’ from CM Punk and ‘(Vince) has problem with Punk. He’d love to have him back.’”

Colohue also said that McMahon is however t willing to reach out to Punk himself, but will happily take a phone call if CM Punk decides to wrestle again. Punk once seemed to be against ever wrestling again but he appears to have changed his tune in recent times. Back in September Punk reportedly said that he wouldn't have a conversation with WWE about potentially working with/for company again.

CM Punk Unlikely To Return
In some disappointing news for WWE fans, CM Punk has anunced that he is yet to hear back from company on his return. Punk h recently auditioned for WWE Backst on FSI. However, former WWE superstar said that re h been news on a potential deal. Earlier, re was also speculation among pro-wrestling fans that Punk may sign a deal with WWE's rivals. All Elite Wrestling (AEW). However, Punk has dismissed se speculations in a leing podcast and even called out fans for spreing false rumours. CM Punk also took a jibe at AEW, alluding that he h t even heard of company.
