Given that the former World Champion hasn't called time in his career, there is still a chance for him to feature in a retirement tour and clash against some of the sensational superstars of this generation, much like The Great Muta did before riding off into the sunset. The WCW legend is open to the idea and seems to be waiting for the call. The Icon is looking for an opportunity, and he recently revealed that he is ready to return to the WWE to make it happen.

Hall of Famer Goldberg showcases his zeal on a WWE return for his final match

During his appearance on the 'Busted Open Radio' podcast, Former WCW and WWE wrestler Bill Goldberg revealed that he is still all in for the final match and is eager to do it under the WWE banner. However, the WWE Hall of Famer emphasised the need to address an existing ailment first, since he is now dealing with a torn rotator cuff from his fight against Brock Lesnar.

"I’d love to, 100%. But I have to get my torn rotator cuff taken care of finally because…we all live with these injuries, right, and I’ll come out and say it; When I came back with Brock [Lesnar], and nobody ever knew this, that first night in Denver, I blew my rotator cuff completely, and I never told anybody about it. I kept working through it because you work sparingly, once, twice a year. So I can crescendo and I can get as strong as I can.

"I would absolutely love to have that final match, I would. Am I good not having it? Yeah, I’m fine with it. But it’d be neat to have it. It wouldn’t have to be with anyone, I could do it myself and get accomplished what I wanted to accomplish. I could do the promotion myself overseas, do it in Israel, do it in India, do it in Japan, maybe do one in the States. I don’t know," Goldberg said.
