WWE Crown Jewel: Braun Strowman and Tyson Fury set for Saudi showdown

Boxer Tyson Fury recently appeared on WWE episodes of Raw & SmackDown & has already started a feud with Brawn Strowman, resulting in their match in Saudi Arabia

British boxer Tyson Fury will be making his WWE debut when he enters the ring to compete against Braun Strowman at the WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia on 31 October. The blockbuster announcement was made by WWE on their official Twitter handle. The 31-year-old Fury recently appeared on WWE episodes and has already started a feud with Strowman.

Braun Strowman vs Tyson Fury: How the feud started 

The first time these two strong personalities went against each other was when Strowman started mocking Fury during the FOX premiere of Friday Night SmackDown. The two later had a physical altercation on Monday’s episode of Raw after Fury, who has demanded an apology from Strowman for his actions. The 'Monster Among Men' and the former Unified world heavyweight champion ended up trading punches which involved battling their way through a sea of security guards and WWE Superstars. After the show, Strowman pledged that Fury would “Get These Hands” during a brief backstage interview.

Braun Strowman vs Tyson Fury: The face-off

The pair recently faced each other at a press conference on Friday. Speaking at the announcement of their bout, Fury was confident of knocking Strowman out as he fears no man. Strowman replied to Fury by warning him that there are no gloves that can be worn in WWE fights and that he will be remembered for defeating him as well as the reason why is he known in the WWE as the 'Monster Among Men'.

After the face-off, the pair shared an awkward exchange as Strowman refused to release Fury’s hand as they shook. After some weird back-slapping and another stare down, Triple H finally came out to calm things down.

Furry will follow former boxers Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather who have also had feuds in the past in the WWE ring. Current US President Donald Trump has also engaged in a bout for the organisation in 2007.
