WWE Crown Jewel: Fan throws bottle at Natalya during her entrance

WWE returned to Saudi Arabia on Thursday for another star-studded Crown Jewel event, headlined by the WWE champion Brock Lesnar and his UFC rival Cain Velasquez. Apart from that, Saudi Arabia also witnessed its first-ever women’s match at Crown Jewel between Natalya and Lacey Evans. Though the match was filled with high flying moves and character-defining moments, the crowd was not so pleased with the match and especially Natalya.

WWE Crown Jewel: Fans throws a bottle at Natalya

When the Queen of Heart was making his way to the ring an unexpected thing happened. A video recently went viral which shows a fan throwing a water bottle at her. The bottle hit Natalya on her leg, but she being a good sportswoman did not react. The video went viral on Twitter and fans were quick to react to the incident. Some fan praised Natalya’s attitude and some slammed the audience for their disrespectful action.

WWE Crown Jewel: Natalya vs Lacey Evans

The match began with both the superstars praising each other by shaking each other’s hand and proceeding to make history. Natalya started well by trapping Evans in a Sharpshooter. Evans somehow contoured the move, only for the Queens of Hearts to throw her on the floor. Evans recovered quickly and attacked Natalya’s knee and dropped her on the ring apron. Evans then caught Natalya with a cobra clutch and trapped her in an arm lock, looking to force a submission out of her competitor. Natalya somehow got out of the lock and delivered a basement dropkick to Natalya.

Natalya then tried to trap Evans in a Sharpshooter, but Evans countered with a roll-up and delivered a fisherman's suplex to Natalya, dropping her down. She then climbed up to the top rope and executed a perfect suplex for a near-fall. Evans tried another high-risk manoeuvre but failed as Natalya threw her with a clothesline and trapped her in the Sharpshooter. Evans had no were to go and tapped out letting Natalya win the match. After the match, both the wrestlers raised each other’s arms as fans cheered and chanted.
