During an appearance on PBD Podcast, Hulk Hogan revealed real reason for untitled Netflix biopic of him to be canned. two-time WWE Hall of Famer revealed that Netflix production in charge allegedly missed out on a payment. “y kind of missed a beat in contract, yeah. re was a payment that wasn’t placed at right time. script was amazing. Scott Silver, who wrote script for Joker, Wolf of Wall Street, a bunch of or movies, said, ‘This is best thing I’ve ever written.’ When I re it, I’m like, oh my god, this is really good. At time, I was in a space where I told him positive stuff about wrestling.”

“Spent about three years with this writer going back and forth. When I re it, it was just very, very dark, if that would be right word. But it was probably what public may want to see. When I re it I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, if this thing comes out…’ re was talk that Chris Hemsworth h never played a real person before and he could probably win an Oscar, this thing is so powerful,” Hulk Hogan said.
