The Viper Randy Orton is one of the most experienced members of the current roster. Since he debuted in 2002 Orton has stuck to WWE ever and not drifted away from it. Orton has made a name for himself over the years, winning the WWE championship 13 times. Orton has always been more liked as a heel, which he currently is, there are reported plans to turn Orton babyface yet again.
WWE: Randy Orton to get a major character change
Orton was most recently tied in a feud with long-time rival Kofi Kingston. The feud was not just based around the WWE Championship but also the personal rivalry among the two wrestlers. However, Kingston's reign as WWE Champion ended after Brock Lesnar defeated him. It is reported that Orton will not be seen in the title race anytime soon. A video of Orton laughing during the Bobby Lashley and Lana kissing segment had gone viral. Now another video has emerged of the former Evolution member helping a young fan at ringside.
Earlier Orton was in the midst of one of the best feuds in his career. For four straight PPV’s he was the main title contender for the WWE championship. Since losing to Mark Henry at the Hell in a Cell PPV, Orton has not failed to get a title shot. Over on SmackDown, these feuds were not getting the attention and exposure they truly deserved. Going by crowd response, not much of a change is necessary.
He still gets very good reactions from fans. He has always gotten loud cheers when entering the ring and when hitting his big moves during the match. Even so, he has still fallen down the company ladder. A character change is not necessary just yet, but if this path continues for Orton, he is going to have to step up his game and get eyes back on the Apex Predator.
